divergentpaw -- thunderclan -- apprentice (image wip)

Appearance: had it not been for her long claws, your character's first impression of her would be, 'wow, what a weak kit'. she's slim and very skinny, her body build not cut out for a warrior. she's frail like an old elder, one touch and she falls. weak as she is, the apprentice is beautiful. her slender build is covered with gorgeous marbled tabby markings, dark grey over silver. her bright green eyes shine in the sun and moonlight, never failing to stop you in your tracks just to stare at them. her long white claws are tucked neatly into her paws. her tail is always neatly wrapped around her, no matter how she sits or stands. well, she keeps her tail low to the ground when standing. her muzzle is rather narrow, with a dark pink nose resting at the end of it. her white whiskers are barely visible, but it gives her the more approachable look.

Personality: her personality? where to start. she knows she's not good enough to be a warrior, but yet, she pushes herself on. divergentpaw is stubborn mentally and physically, yet she is a giant hypocrite about it. she seems to be carefree, always thinking breaking rules is okay, not realizing the importance of anything. she's actually in the middle of a battle to decided whether she's a lesbian or not. she always seemed to be attracted to females. divergentpaw also seems to get bored very easily, walking away from conversation whenever she wants to. she doesn't believe in ... being stupid, and tends to tell it to others very bluntly. she's also very sarcastic, and isn't the thin, scared she-cat that everyone thinks her to be. she's actually very good with words, and is often found speaking old english. she also has a rather funny personality, and cracks a joke here and there, funny ones, too. she can be rude or mean when she wants, but only when necessary. her greatest strength is stalling. she knows how and when to do it, often dragging a feline into conversation against their own will. she always finds a way, and seems to have an entire plan in her mind, even if she's making it up as she goes.

History: divergent. that was her name when she was younger, merely a loner. living with her father, the only parent she had left, her life wasn't easy. i would hate to give her a sob-story, but i feel her personality leads up to this. and only this. her father was a kittypet who ran away from home to stay with his one true love, a rogue by the name of 'megan'. divergent's father, skullduggery, loved her more than anything in the world, but after megan found out she was pregnant, she left. one night, skullduggery found kits by his den, and assumed they were his ex-mate's. he took them in, loving them more than his own life, caring for them. but eventually, he couldn't take it anymore. he gave them names, then left them in each of the four clans, hoping they never remember each other. skullduggery is seen by the border sometimes, watching his children as they grow up, but this is about divergentkit. growing up, she was taken in by a queen by the name of 'softfeather' who soon died of an unknown rat disease. divergentkit was always playing with she-cats, and never felt the need to be attracted to males. she never had actual friends, and hated herself for it. slowly, she just stopped caring and having crushes, and made herself smarter, wittier, and better. she grew up with the friends she loves, and wouldn't trade them for the world.
